Reviews and Ratings
Sproat Lake Resort has some standout features, particularly the incredible staff who go above and beyond to ensure an enjoyable stay. The rooms are well-maintained and offer a lovely view of the lake. However, the dining experience leaves something to be desired, with limited breakfast options and some issues regarding food quality. While the location by the lake is a great plus for outdoor activities, the noise from the highway can be bothersome.
The resort offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains and beaver pond, making it a picturesque retreat. Our stay was enhanced by attentive service, especially when personal touches were given for my husband's birthday. However, the noise from the nearby highway detracted from the experience, and there were some cleanliness issues with the outdoor areas. While the dining experience had its highs, it fell short of expectations, particularly in terms of breakfast options.
I found Sproat Lake Landing to be a lovely gem in the middle of Vancouver Island. With its stunning lakeside views and cozy Scandinavian decor, the atmosphere was absolutely delightful. The hotel was impeccably maintained, which added to the overall experience. However, I encountered some service hiccups during my visit, particularly with the restaurant being understaffed. Overall, it's a great place to stay if you're looking for comfort and charm, but be prepared for a few bumps along the way.
My stay at the resort was quite disappointing. The rooms were comfortable but had some cleanliness issues that were hard to overlook. The service seemed lacking, with young staff who appeared inexperienced. Location-wise, it was too close to the highway, which made it noisy, and the dining experience was frustrating due to limited options and poor food quality. Overall, it felt overpriced for what was offered.
I enjoyed my stay at this resort, as it had a pleasant and peaceful atmosphere right by the lake. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with great views, although we did notice some cleaning oversights. The dining was a mixed bag: while some dishes were decent, the breakfast experience left much to be desired. The resort could benefit from better organization and upkeep in some areas, but overall, it was a solid choice for a brief getaway.
